Lexie and I met in college at UNG. She had a crush on me for years but didn't make a move until our final year of school. She was a waitress at one of my favorite spots to eat in town. I always thought she was so beautiful and lit up the room. At the time, all I cared about was baseball, so I was not thinking about dating.

Supposedly, I missed a lot of hints of her flirting with me over the years -- I thought she was just being nice. We were casual friends a while. We would go out of our way to talk each other, give a quick friendly hug, and wished each other happy birthdays.

During our senior year of college, she got brave and asked me out on a date, and we never looked back! We did long distance for about three and half years before starting our lives together in Savannah, Georgia with our two pups. We dated for just under five years before getting engaged.
